If you know me, you know I like to read!
I have always loved to read, but my passion really developed during a period of waiting. God had called me to wait for something and due to that specific waiting I had a lot of time on my hands. So, with that time I read. The library became my friend and the floor of my room became covered with a pile of 'to-read' books. Let's be honest, it's still that way!
I ended up reading about 54 books within a year. It wasn't a goal I started out with, it just sort of happened. The majority of books I read during that period were non-fiction, most of them about deep tough life situations. I was challenged in many ways through reading those books. I also feel like God sparked something in me through the reading of other's stories. It is amazing what you can learn from hearing other people's stories! Just saying!
This section of my blog will be me sharing the books I have read that challenged me. I will recommend books I have read to anyone who wants to hear them. I will also share what I am currently reading.
